There is a big gap in education. It’s between the children books and the Elite colleges. We are taught in both, that the idea, creativity, and endurance of will are the most important factors of success. In children’s books it is very basic and straight forward. “follow your dreams”, “you can do anything you put your mind to”, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”. This message is then re-visited in well esteemed colleges by insisting the greatest contribution to society is to focus innovative ideas, endure hardships of the competitive business world in order to reach the ultimate goal of creating jobs. Again reinforcing the power of the idea, endurance of will, and creativity. But unfortunately, between these two, there is a big hurdle. The intermediate years where we deal with Jr. High or High School and they attempt to turn us into drones and break our spirit.

Fuck ‘Em.

Do everything your way, and don’t compromise unless you are compromising for a greater good. These core values that we are told so often that we almost ignore like music in a grocery store need to be remembered again. These things are not just a naive person’s comfort blanket they are tried and true, but they require a strength of will and endurance. Hope, Positivity, and Being genuinely concerned for a greater good will help you achieve everything.

If you can Dream it, You can achieve it.

I WANT TO WRITE

I want to write!
And I want to sing!
And I want to fly!
And live in pening!
But I unlike you, cannot wait for these things
My life has run short; I am soon to be three!
A super space mission,
From a rocket so high!
To save the whole world,
Shave an elephant’s thigh!
And above all of all things, to have everyone free!
And get in my way, I’ll fuck up your knees!
I’ll sail my own ship
To see every country!
Make everyone smile
Make everyone see
That as young as I am, and crazy as I be,
I’ll do anything I want, for I believe only in me!
